Experiential Activation via Facebook’s Likes

DewyTree, a renowned Korean skincare brand, appointed Chilli Marketing to formulate an activation campaign to create trialship of their premium facial masks via Facebook.

With the helps from Optimo Asia, Chilli’s tech-savvy business unit, a simple facebook app was set up on DewyTree’s fan page, in which non-members would see a free-trial invitation message while they first visited the page. Once liked, they were immediately re-directed to an e-coupon with which they would be able redeem the premium facial masks during DewyTree sampling events.

For existing fans, they were also able to download the e-coupon simply by clicking the designated facebook app tab on DewyTree fan page.

Chilli was tasked to set up the facebook app, to monitor and moderate fans’ responses as well as to run the sampling events in Mongkok and Causeway Bay.

Without any mass media or even facebook advertising supports, this viral campaign achieved a net reach of over 25,000 unique facebook users in two weeks, boosted DewyTree’s fan base by over 100% and created over 1,500 satisfied experiences with client’s premium facial masks.
